Construction work at Brick 'n Board's Fountain Views 61 apartments project well on schedule.

The many buy-to-let and other purchasers at Brick 'n Board's new Fountain Views development at Brackenfell will be pleased to learn that the structures of all the six blocks have reached roof height  and the remaining two the concrete floor slabs are 100% complete, says Rowan Alexander, Director of Alexander Swart Property the estate agency which teamed up yet again with  Brick 'n Board to handle the sales and marketing of the development.

Last week Alexander and the two agents from ASP, Jason Blight and Stefan Engelke, who were the top sales performers on this project, visited the site with Divan Botha of B'n B and were, they say, impressed with the progress that has been made. Four of the blocks will be three storey and two will be double storey.

"As always, I find it exciting that the development is coming to life so fast and so satisfactorily and that this means that all promises will be kept," said Alexander. "All of us on this recent visit thought that the final product will be even better than we envisaged. And I have to say that, as before, it has been gratifying to us to work with so reputable  a developer as Brick 'n Board. They are producing a quality product that will  have the quality  finishes and fittings for which they are known and which they include in all their developments."

Of the 61 apartments, all two bedroomed,  in the project, only seven have still to be signed for. These are all on ground and first floors and sell from R1,358,900 to R1,414, 540. All apartments in the development have 60m2 of floor area and all have 16m2 garages included in the price. This, says Alexander, sets Fountain Views apart from many  similar projects which seldom have garages for every home.

"With sites for new developments now so difficult to come by in Brackenfell," he said, "new projects such as this  are doubly valuable and much prized. As I have said  frequently, a scheme such as this one fits neatly into the high demand category where rents are between R7500 and R9500-- and this makes them ideal for buy-to-let investors  as well as owner occupiers looking for a secure lifestyle in a new development. "

Kraaifontein, Western Cape

For years Kraaifontein was regarded as the ugly stepsister of the slightly more upmarket Brackenfell and Durbanville. This perception has changed dramatically in recent years, thanks to expansive development and rejuvenation initiatives in the... More Info
